Learn tips and tricks for working with silver stains!
Mastering silver stains is one of the hallmarks of a stained glass artist. This one-day workshop will bring your skills to a new level and offer you the opportunity to compare and contrast different silver stains.
We’ll focus on:
• Using mediums to mix silver stain
• Application and achieving an even layer
• The effect of time/temperature on the results
• Creating patterns
• Reclaiming silver stain
Workshop includes:
• Group and individual instruction
• Designs, materials, tools, mediums, firing
• Snacks and beverages
• A chance to video-chat with Cliff Oster, creator of world-famous Oster silver stains
• Gratis silver stain sample of your choice to take to your studio.
• As workshop participant you’ll be offered a discount of 10% on all paint brushes, mediums and 5-10% discount on all paints (sets not included), valid through the end of the workshop.
You must have some experience with glass painting (although not necessarily with silver stains) to participate in this workshop.
Minimum 4, maximum 8 persons. Instruction will be in Dutch/English.
