Sandalwood Amyris oil
Heavy-bodied basis oil that evaporates slowly, especially useful for storing paints. Too thick by itself to grind paints to a smooth paste. / Zwaardere basis olie die langzaam verdampt, gebruikt voor het bewaren van de verven. Te dik om verven te malen tot een schilderbare verf.
Firing paints mixed with oils / mediums
When firing paints with significant amounts of medium, this must be burned off for good results. With peephole(s) open, increase kiln temperature slowly to 450°C (840°F), hold at this temperature for 20-40 min, then close peephole(s) and fire normally.
